Main profile
Rev. Laura M. George, J.D. is a retired attorney and Executive Director of The Oracle Institute, a 501(c)(3) educational charity located along the ancient New River in Independence, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia (1983), her law degree from Boston University (1986), and her ministerial training through the interfaith Order of Melchizedek (2011).
The Oracle Institute (www.TheOracleInstitute.org) serves as an “Advocate for Peace and a Vanguard for Conscious Evolution,” and it offers a wide variety of progressive and pluralistic programs. Rev. George oversees Oracle’s spirituality school, award-winning publishing house, and international peace practice, which includes social justice campaigns and global summits such as the Building the New World Conferences (www.BTNW.world).
Oracle operates as a spiritual think-tank and studies the nexus between religion, politics, human rights, and conscious evolution. Rev. George writes about the “Trickle-Down Deity Theory,” which posits that humanity’s view of the Godhead necessarily defines all cultural experience. She is the author of the award-winning Oracle Trilogy: The Truth, The Love, and The Light.
Oracle Campus is home to the Peace Pentagon (www.PeacePentagon.net), a retreat and conference center built to European PassivHaus® standards. In addition, the 22-acre campus contains seven residences, animal barns, food gardens, and outdoor sacred space. The Peace Pentagon also is the U.S. headquarters for the Earth Constitution Institute (www.EarthConstitution.world), as well as the heart of the Valley of Light micro-community for cultural creatives and the soul of Oracle Temple, an esoteric church founded by Rev. George.
