Emily Hine is a social entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to serving the greater good. Throughout her career, Emily has raised more than $150 million for nonprofits globally. After 9/11, Emily quit her corporate job at Microsoft and dedicated her life to increasing world peace and compassion. This commitment brought her to the forefront of the compassion movement enabling her to work with Global Luminaries such as The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Emily then served as the Chief of Peace and on faculty for The Shift Network and co-designed and the Peace Ambassador Training with James O'Dea and Philip Hellmich. More than 1100 have graduated from the program. Emily also co-designed and hosted the first Peace Week, and Summer of Peace summits, and she designed and hosted the first Global Compassion Summit at The Shift Network.
As Chief of Peace with Holy Sit Productions, Emily partners with businesses that share the goal of increasing mindfulness, consciousness, compassion, and peace on the planet. From 2016 - 2021, Emily served as a founding team member and Vice President of Meru Health, a Silicon Valley mental health company that uses a mind-body approach, biofeedback, and digital tools to successfully treat people suffering from depression, burnout, and anxiety.
Emily is a Certified Mindfulness and Compassion Teacher from Stanford University. She is an author, teacher, and inspirational public speaker who shares practical strategies for doing our inner work, to become an expression of peace and compassion in the outer world.
