A Call to Conscious Evolution:

One of the most important challenges we face is cleaning up our food supply and changing our medical paradigm. Irradicating the use of harmful chemical pesticides, fertilizers and food additives, that are the main contributors in making our country a leader in obesity and diabetes as well as a host of other ills, has to be stopped! Tied into this is the pharmaceutical fiasco that has been allowed to escalate around the profit driven Big Pharma companies with their hard sell consumer advertising, absurd pricing structures and their goal of "managing" our illnesses with expensive pills rather providing true healing. This has got to be stopped! These monsterous pharmaceutical entities are much more powerful than even the oil companies now. In conjunction with the FDA, they have been allowed to release drugs like VIOXX on the public without proper testing, ruining countless lives while victimizing the poorest of our nation who do not even have insurance companies to negotiate the prices for the drugs that might actually be useful to them. All kinds of conditions are being "medicalized" that we never thought of as diseases, they use every trick in the book to marginalize true healing modalites and get us on their drugs for life. This intense profit driven paradigm has got to change drastically. If we can get the health of the nation back on track, everything will get back on track. This, to me, is the MOST important basic issue at hand right now that can make the biggest impact. America is not a country of victims, but that is exactly what we have become through this complicated web that has infiltrated our most basic right to health! Because of the far reaching American influence, like a pebble in a pond, the concentric circles created by these types of improvements will have far ranging effects on a multitude of other important issues that affect our world.
