A Call to Conscious Evolution:

Our Moment of Choice

Economic disparity, geopolitical tensions, climate change, educational inequities -- these mounting concerns are symptoms of a world that is out of balance. Together we can shift consciousness by co-creating a new way of being together.

The Call to Conscious Evolution was born following a gathering of global visionaries. It's a movement that fully supports that the future is not what happens to us, but rather what WE create.

Together, we can co-create a new narrative of conscious evolution by:

  • Building a global community and creating a culture of peace.
  • Restoring ecological balance to nourish all life, and mitigate the effects of climate change.
  • Engaging in social and political transformation by calling for a more conscious democracy.
  • Promoting health and healing by acknowledging the profound mind-body-spirit connection.
  • Supporting research and education that optimize human capacities.
  • Encouraging integrity in business and conscious media.

In this great time of uncertainty, join us in elevating consciousness to create a better world. One governed by meaning and purpose. Accept nothing less.

Every voice counts -- YOUR voice counts.

Read Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Deepak Chopra, Gangaji, Dalai Lama, Lois Hay, etc. Let children and parents learn how their unexamined beliefs run their thinking. Clean up diet. Exercise more. Learn to meditate or at least stop and notice what is here right now. Forgive.

In addition to the ideas already mentioned, I would like to suggest: A chain is only as strong as the weakest link. Our prisons and the unfortunate people imprisoned in them could be considered one of the weakest links in our society. A number of practical solutions to fixing our legal system so that people are not convicted erroneously are described at the wonderful website http://www.innocenceproject.org/fix/ (The Innocence Project was founded in 1992 by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld to assist prisoners who could be proven innocent through DNA testing. To date, 235 people in the United States have been exonerated by DNA testing, including 17 who served time on death row. These people served an average of 12 years in prison before exoneration and release.) I would like to suggest that programs for self development, career training, arts & music, & true rehabilitation be implemented at prisons. This doesnít have to be costly. Well meaning individuals can donate educational books, audio & video tapes, equipment, & old computers. With current technology with video webcams, teachers of all types could easily video or webcast their classes for prisoners to view. If prisoners had the opportunity to learn relaxing, stress reducing techniques like Transcendental Meditation, they could be relieved of stress and tension and unleash their creative intelligence. Lastly, I would like to suggest that even though budget cuts may be necessary, that we not cut the arts out. The arts provide a healthy and creative outlet that if taken away could back fire. For some of us, the arts can be a means for God to express Himself through us. What could be more valuable than that?

Leave behind us the legacy of 'big business' and stop being a slave to the monetary system that's suppressing our consciousness and true potential for happiness

The shift is supported in holding a vision, prayer and intention of working together on all levels of system as a family, one tribe with one heart. Co-creative endeavors of healing are possible, so possible! Our children are also needing our attention to help integrate their radiance including them in the vision building of HOPE, Creativity is allowing the blossoms........ In gratitude, Cameron Mary Plagens

In a nutshell, get rid of tv! It's keeping everyone trapped in a perpetual state of perceived material need! I know it's not feasible, as it would destroy businesses and ruin economies and lives, but surely that is a cry for a new system. (Please take a look at Jacques Fresco and the Venus Project for a long term solution.) We're trapped in an unsutainable way of life, but have convinced ourselves of the necessity for over indulgence. If you can remove the distraction, people would surely become more aware and educated about the problems of the world, that far greater numbers would join to help. I'm not sure if it is the social or the conscious change that must happen first, but I'm convinced more and more that if we make some of the social changes first the conscious will follow far easier. But then I am a firm believer in 'Remote Shared Learning', and that if we get enough people sharing these more enlightened views, that we will create the greater shift. So with that I feel, that you should provide us with the direction and tools for this conscious evolution, so that we can help spread the message, while the true visionary leaders continue to spread the message as widely as possible.
