A Call to Conscious Evolution:

Our Moment of Choice

Economic disparity, geopolitical tensions, climate change, educational inequities -- these mounting concerns are symptoms of a world that is out of balance. Together we can shift consciousness by co-creating a new way of being together.

The Call to Conscious Evolution was born following a gathering of global visionaries. It's a movement that fully supports that the future is not what happens to us, but rather what WE create.

Together, we can co-create a new narrative of conscious evolution by:

  • Building a global community and creating a culture of peace.
  • Restoring ecological balance to nourish all life, and mitigate the effects of climate change.
  • Engaging in social and political transformation by calling for a more conscious democracy.
  • Promoting health and healing by acknowledging the profound mind-body-spirit connection.
  • Supporting research and education that optimize human capacities.
  • Encouraging integrity in business and conscious media.

In this great time of uncertainty, join us in elevating consciousness to create a better world. One governed by meaning and purpose. Accept nothing less.

Every voice counts -- YOUR voice counts.

Currently, I am the President of the Arizona Yoga Association. In this position, from the start one year ago, a goal was to unify the yoga community of Arizona from north to south and all in between. In view of this leadership role, I realize my actions, thoughts, words are influentional. My personal meditations focus on quiet surrender so that I will be able to hear and see clearly what is necessary for the highest good of All.

Encourage individuals to become more aware of themselves, and hence become more aware of the choices they can make at all times, not only ecologically, but emotionally, professionallyÖon all levels. Such awareness of alternatives when one is faced with challenging situations is extremely helpful, and can - given enough people of such inner convictions - ultimately lead to world peace and lasting solutions for world hunger and education. Real change that lasts on a global basis must have its roots at the individual level and so that is where we have to begin.

Teach our children to love, honor and respect themselves. When we love ourselves we do not allow others to hurt us nor do we want to hurt others. Our expanded consciousness depends on expanding our ability to love and be loved. Thus we need to nurture and teach our new and existing parents and caretakers to love themselves as well. Our future lies with our children - their choices stem from their care and education. Namaste

I love the wave of personal responsibility, the awakening of self-reliance as well as community participation that has begun to sweep the US since President Obama has taken office. I believe we need to continue to foster all of those qualities in ourselves while at the same time acknowledging that we are indeed our "brother's keeper" because, without doubt, whatever befalls our brothers and sisters, ultimately effects all of us as well our planet and all life everywhere. I personally believe that the work the Institute of Heart Math continues to do is extremely valuable in our continued growth in global consciousness. I also believe that the Global Coherence Initiative - glcoherence.org - offers a practical construct for each of us to participate in the exploration and advancement of our role as co-creators of our destiny.

Am practising stopping before I act, taking a moment to reflect, then ensuring I act as a service to others rather than what I want or feel. Tough at times, but improving!
