A Call to Conscious Evolution:

Our Moment of Choice

Economic disparity, geopolitical tensions, climate change, educational inequities -- these mounting concerns are symptoms of a world that is out of balance. Together we can shift consciousness by co-creating a new way of being together.

The Call to Conscious Evolution was born following a gathering of global visionaries. It's a movement that fully supports that the future is not what happens to us, but rather what WE create.

Together, we can co-create a new narrative of conscious evolution by:

  • Building a global community and creating a culture of peace.
  • Restoring ecological balance to nourish all life, and mitigate the effects of climate change.
  • Engaging in social and political transformation by calling for a more conscious democracy.
  • Promoting health and healing by acknowledging the profound mind-body-spirit connection.
  • Supporting research and education that optimize human capacities.
  • Encouraging integrity in business and conscious media.

In this great time of uncertainty, join us in elevating consciousness to create a better world. One governed by meaning and purpose. Accept nothing less.

Every voice counts -- YOUR voice counts.

If enough people cultivated and nurtured relationships with the neighbours, their natural surroundings and their local communities, this would have a ripple effect that would ultimately impact on a global level.

My focus is on the section called Encouraging Conscious Media: "We must find innovative ways to use the new electronic media as the mirror of our positive evolutionary story, investing in their capacity to reach across differences of generation, culture, religion, wealth, and gender to build a working consensus about our collective future." take this matter seriously and take major and minor actions now! Not in a few years NOW! We have enough technology and knowledge to change major things quickly. Provide SERIOUS tax cuts for the companies and the citizens, who either provide the services or institute/set up/ use the services. This may allow some of us who can't afford it right now- to just do it. Like solar panels, wind turbines etc. Why can't little wind turbines be put on cars? Where are the air compression cars? Etc In order for many people to be conscious-it has to be "in their face."

I feel that what will ultimately accelerate a shift is equalizing (for children) the vast difference in the education and exposure to all that is wonderful in the world to the different economic levels. Children at the lowest economic levels do not have the same positive outlook of possibilities and therefore are discouraged that there are no options for them. They feel so behind that they cannot ever catch up. They see the disparity and are angry. They don't have the positive activities available. Everything including sports special events at school all cost money. There are not enough programs that provide money for the activities. Then the differences in schools alone and what they have to offer. Kids know they are getting the short end of the stick. Yes college tuition is great, but we need to make the road to college more positive, and not let kids fall through the cracks. No child wants to fail, they only give up when discourage. So when a child is not doing well instead of punishment we need to take a look at what is really going on. Either emotional or a learning difference. Pull these kids self- esteem up by encouraging that there is a way to achieve excellence. Also if there was a way to educate young people about how to raise children without emotional or physical violence. If this was implemented that this is not a blaming of how parents have been taught to bring up children but a new way of raising children, so that they have a full and open spirit that has not been squashed. I teach a program called strengthening multi-cultural families and communities, a violence prevention program. If a child is not exposed to personal emotional or physical violence along with being protected from the violence on TV and games. they have a much better chance of seeing the positive in the world. They are just seeing to much and parents are not aware of how electronic violence effects children. They get desensitized. They get violence in rearing, then TV then video games, movies, in their own community. Where is the respite the calm the ability to see and feel the love in the world. My dream has been to bring this knowing into middle schools. Have it be a mandatory class. We have drivers education, sex education, but no education on what it takes to raise a healthy happy human being.
