The world right now needs an elevation of consciousness in individuals - to grow from stuckness at 3rd chakra level! Then perhaps a single-minded focus on money, sex & power (confused with personal 'security') can be expanded to include a healing from 'emotional bankruptcy' to an expanded view of the world as experienced by an opened heart, producing compassion which, in its purest form, is 'love in action'. Only then can the integrity of the human spirit be fully nourished as its natural birthright. It is visionary of the new President to contemplate such evolution and is to be applauded. Perhaps its success might best be started by focused work within small groups around the world with a common mission. The restoration of our self-sufficient planet is already a topic in the forefront of many political leaders - and it is the 'healing' of its inhabitants in so many ways that is vital, not the least of which is the gross imbalance of wealth around the world. Nobody on this planet should be hungry or homeless but, until human greed and corruption are recognised at their core and curtailed there, these gross abuses against humanity will continue. I would like to be part of this movement in whichever form it takes. As a psychologist, I see the same steps for 'group consciousness' as are necessary for one's own personal journey of self development and opening of potential at all possible levels..
