Integrate healthcare to include age old modalities of healing including acupuncture,massage therapy,herbal wisdom and energetic work. Institute policies with insurance companies and public assistance that cover whole person wellness. Outlaw genetic engineering and food modification processesing. Create federal programs for community supported agriculture. stop factory farming of animals and return farming to a family oriented model. Emphasize healthy organic food in all public programs and schools. Eliminate high fructose corn syrup completely from the american diet. Stop toxic chemicals and volatile compounds being used rampantly in all consumer products. eliminate harmful plastics and polamers from consumables. Institute federal mandates for state and city wide recycling and trash removal programs. Educate consumers and children about recycling and composting practices. Create waste management programs that address reusing and redistributing goods as an alternative for landfills. Stop standardized testing and emphasize instead broader spectrums for assimilating knowledge. Focus on teaching life skills, ancient wisdom teachings, gardening, art and sustainable living in public schools. Allocate federal funds for teachers benefits, continuing education and alternative education for teachers, art and music immeresion programs. Highlight creative activities balanced with academic activities. Institute peace and justice training as a part of military defense spending.
