As a new Reiki practitioner in the state of Florida, I cannot practice Reiki unless I am a licensed massage therapist. In Florida, I cannot give any kind of healing to an animal unless I am a licensed veterinarian. This is ridiculous. The laws need to be changed to allow spiritual healers to practice without fear of landing in jail.
