My "non-authoratative" prescription: Support compassionate initiatives. Promote opportunities for individual enlightenment. Embrace the notion of "sustainability" in all of its forms for guiding principles; Adopt the notions of environmental sustainability, economic sustainability, agricultural sustainability, cultural sustainability, and so forth. Work to establish balance in our own lives and in those around you. Work to restore fairness in society. Be Skeptical. Be willing to question fantastic claims and validate them through multiple sources. Consciously try to not let your own prejudices prevent you from seeing the validity of opposing viewpoints, even if what you learn contradicts your preconception. Trust your intuition but be willing to look at the perspective from the other side. Trust real science and be wary of bogus claims. Be compassionate. Be positive. Have fun. Laugh until you fall over.
