We can collectively agree to focus our media, print, movies, television, radio, and internet on the positive and uplifting stories and changes in cities and local communities that are occuring daily. People are being blasted by the media daily with the doom and gloom. It's no wonder people are afraid, depressed, and worried about our future. Yes we need the truth but we need a much more balanced media. I suggest more public forums to brainstorm about viable solutions. These forums must include the american public allowing their voice and oppinions to be heard regularly and included in important decisions that effect their daily life like environment, education, mortgages, health care, and affordable housing. Let's have reality shows that are informative and intelligent on these topics and a little less American Idol.
