A Call to Conscious Evolution:

Our Moment of Choice

Economic disparity, geopolitical tensions, climate change, educational inequities -- these mounting concerns are symptoms of a world that is out of balance. Together we can shift consciousness by co-creating a new way of being together.

The Call to Conscious Evolution was born following a gathering of global visionaries. It's a movement that fully supports that the future is not what happens to us, but rather what WE create.

Together, we can co-create a new narrative of conscious evolution by:

  • Building a global community and creating a culture of peace.
  • Restoring ecological balance to nourish all life, and mitigate the effects of climate change.
  • Engaging in social and political transformation by calling for a more conscious democracy.
  • Promoting health and healing by acknowledging the profound mind-body-spirit connection.
  • Supporting research and education that optimize human capacities.
  • Encouraging integrity in business and conscious media.

In this great time of uncertainty, join us in elevating consciousness to create a better world. One governed by meaning and purpose. Accept nothing less.

Every voice counts -- YOUR voice counts.

1. Create a United Nations of truly Democratic countries and give it a bicameral constitution and a powerful police force. 2. Create an international space program and have as many people as possible experience the planet as a whole from afar together either directly or virtually. 3. Fund peace making institutions with as much conviction as we fund the military. 4. Turn non violence into a fifty year education project as with anti smoking.

The media must play a significant role in accelerating the shift in consciousness. The media must immeidately move from sensationism of monetary opportunity to opportunity of promotion of human endeavor, including promoting, smartness, togetherness, abilities. I fear we are sliding too much into sharing all the bad disasters, stupidty, immorale consciousness and not concentrating via the media on the how to tackle our problems - we are drunk on who killed whom and the drug cartels, Osama Bin Ladin, the Taliban and the gossip of Brangelina. While all interesting topics, we are creating a collective consciousness of fear and we have the technology to spread that fast. I believe fear is our greatest enemy and the media must act to support the great efforts big or small - we must get smart again. I would love nothing more than to see all those stupid trashy magazines stripped from grocery store aisles and replaced with smart media messages, magazines, postings. Dumbing down will never smart us up - smart us up will alleviate dumbing down.

Love Ourself So that We may Love others! Make children our most important asset so that they can grow up knowing love and not having to figure it out. Let us give every child a smile full of hope for their tomorrow is more important than our own, because they are our tomorrow.

We can focus less on the "economy", at least in not trying to bring back to "normal". We need to think more in terms of needs instead of wants. There is in plenty in this world for everyone's needs. By needs I don't mean just bare bones getting by. We can have good, healthy, nice things but should be able to look around and see that our neighbors (and I mean globally as well as locally) are doing as well as we are. If not we should find a way to bring things into balance. We need to take care of one another. How some can have so much (and want more) and live in a world where so many have so little is beyond me. if we treat each other as though we care about each other, the world will be a much happier, healthy place to be!

Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me. (one of my favorite songs)
