Diane Williams is the Founder and President of The Source of Synergy Foundation (WWW.SOURCEOFSYNERGYFOUNDATION.ORG), an organization committed to consciously synergizing individuals, organizations and efforts by tapping into the infinite source of the collective potential to serve as a positive force for global transformation. She served as first Chairperson of the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns (CSVGC) (WWW.CSVGC-NY.ORG) at the United Nations in New York. She also served as Co-Chair and Co-Founder of this committee at the United Nations in Geneva where it originated. She was the Co-Creator of the Sacred Place at the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development as well as one of the Co-Founders of the Coalition for One Voice. She also serves on a number of Global Councils of the World Commission on Global Consciousness and Spirituality and is a Senior Fellow at the Global Dialogue Institute. She serves as a consultant to the Tribal Link Foundation and the New York Open Center. Diane was formerly the Director of International and United Nations Affairs at the Interfaith Center of New York; International Consultant & UN Representative at the Temple of Understanding, Program Director of the Learning Alliance among other roles.
Recent Work
Diane currently serves in leadership roles on various United Nations NGO committees including on the Executive Council as Chairperson Emeritus of the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns (NY), Council of the Spiritual Caucus, and Co-Chair of the CSVGC-NY Spiritual Council for Global Challenges working group which strives to bring together members of the UN community interested in promoting more universal values, ethics and spirituality into United Nations policies, programs and decision making. She is currently putting a great deal of her time and energy into The Source of Synergy Foundation and its current two projects: journeys to bear witness to the effects of global warming and to awaken conscious global engagement and action around this global challenge, and the Evolutionary Leaders initiative co-convened with The Chopra Foundation and The Association for Global New Thought. Diane is the Administrative Director of the Evolutionary Leaders: In Service to Conscious Evolution.
